The film’s intention is to demonstrate how ethical engagement with a subject can influence the emotional impact and meaning of a document. The story of the extermination of the Lublin Jews, told by Tomasz Pietrasiewicz at the Grodzka Gate-NN Theatre Center, speaks with a vivid voice and touches the heart and conscience. Walking through the exhibition with Tomek was intended to uncover this human phenomenon. And it reveals itself in this film.
